Who Can Do The Math? is an activity designed to help students become more reflective in problem solving. Students begin by reading a math problem and thinking about how they might try to solve it. They then listen to explanations given by Jake, Kelly, or Astro. Written explanations also appear on the screen. Students must carefully consider the explanations then decide if they make sense mathematically. |

| Who Can Do The Math? is presented monthly. Once a problem expires, it is placed into an archive. The polling and form submission features are no longer available. The original math problem becomes interactive so that students who missed the problem in real time have an opportunity to try the activity at a later date. In the interactive version, students select the best explanation and are immediately given feedback. They may also view the poll results and read student responses. |
